Anita Zucker Steps Down as Chair of Tri-County Cradle to Career

Anita Zucker, founder of Tri-County Cradle to Career and its Chair since the onset, stepped down from that role effective June 15, 2022. She is remaining on the Executive Board as Chair Emeritus. At the June board meeting, Zucker handed over the reins to the incoming Chair, Kenya Dunn.

Tri-County Cradle to Career Dorchester County Digital Inclusion Event

April 9, 2022 – On Saturday, April 9, TCCC participated in the Dorchester County Digital Inclusion Event, in partnership with Dorchester County First Steps, Carolina Teen, and the House of Prayer and Praise Baptist Church. More than 100 people attended.

Tri-County Cradle to Career Regional Leaders Breakfast

March 18, 2022 – Digital Inclusion Week culminated with a Regional Leader’s Breakfast hosted by Anita Zucker, The InterTech Group’s Chair & CEO and TCCC Board Chair. Speakers included Phyllis Martin, TCCC Chief Executive Officer; Jim Stritzinger, South Carolina Office of Broadband; Dr. Kim Long, Executive Director of the Lowcountry Rice Culture Project; and Curtis Askew, President of DataNgine Consulting.

Tri-County Cradle to Career Digital Inclusion Week Eastside Community Event

March 14, 2022 – Tri-County Cradle to Career hosted a community outreach event at Trident Technical College Palmer Campus. TCCC gifted Chromebook computers to community residents, Lowcountry Food Bank provided a farmer’s market, and 20+ vendors provided resources and activities to more than 100 attendees.

Tri-County Cradle to Career Digital Inclusion Week Press Conference

March 11, 2022 – Digital Inclusion Week kicked off with a press conference hosted by City of Charleston Mayor. Speakers included Phyllis Martin, Tri-County Cradle to Career CEO; Edward Copes, Program Chair of the National Society of Black Engineers; Ronald McGee, Comcast Senior Manager of Government Affairs; and Kenya Dunn, incoming TCCC Board Chair.
